Cinemas are screening the musical comedy ‘Khaltour’, a Persian term applied to a singer who performs low quality music at (wedding) parties and his songs are meaningless, the word is used to describe such kind of music as well.
Directed by Arash Moayerian, the story revolves around three young musicians who try not to do popular cheesy (khaltour) songs and work on more prestigious pop songs when they begin their career as singers. However, they have to change their mind when their works fail to gain the popularity they had anticipated, Cinematicket.org wrote.
Mohammadreza Sharifinia, Pouria Pour-Sorkh, Mehran Ghafourian, Ali Sadeqi, Sahar Qoreishi and Maryam Amir-Jalali are in the cast.
The film is being shown at Kourosh, Azadi, Mega Mall, Charsou, Arg, Zendegi and Kian cineplexes in Tehran as well as Ferdowsi, Pirouzi, Javan, Bahman and Shokoufeh cinemas.
