The Fourth International Exhibition of Bags, Shoes, Leather and Related Industries, also known as MPEX 2017, is scheduled to be held at the Tehran International Fairground from October 25 to 28.
The four-day event will host 150 domestic firms and 80 companies from Italy, Turkey, China, Russia, India, Germany and France, which will be showcasing their latest products and services, ILNA reported.
Four commercial delegations from Russia, China, Italy and Turkey are expected to attend the exhibition and enter trade negotiations with their Iranian counterparts.
Former industries minister, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, said at the expo’s last year edition that Iran’s leather exports stand at $120 million per annum.
