TEDPIX Extends Gaining Momentum

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 195.80 points or 0.23% to end Monday trade at 85,590.7.

About 600 million shares valued at $54.1 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Insurance Industry Investment Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 2,983 rials per share.

Parsian Insurance incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.58% to 1,729 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Iranian Petrochemical Investment Company.

Iran Aluminum Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by MAPNA Group and Parsian Insurance.

The Price Index gained 63.20 points or 0.23% to close at 27,654.9. The First Market Index went up by 162.20 points or 0.27% to post 59,279.8.

The Second Market Index added 297.20 points or 0.16% to reach 190,267.2. The Industry Index gathered 203.30 points or 0.27% to register 74,658.6.

The Free Float Index scored 314.67 points or 0.34% to hit 92,674.80. The TSE 30 was up 16.30 points or 0.47% to settle at 3,513.1 while the TSE 50 gained 11.50 points or 0.34% to 3,416.6.

 IFX Ends Flat

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX inched up 0.02 points or less than 0.01% to close Monday trade at 930.52.

Close to 353 million securities valued at $42.31 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Asia Seir Aras witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 73.33 million of its shares valued at $2.8 million changed hands.

Asia Seir Aras, Shahed Construction and Development Company and Ghasem Distribution Company had the highest value increase.

Zangan Zinc Industries, Khazar Sea Shipping Lines and Shomalshargh Shahrood Industrial and Mining Company suffered the biggest decline.

Lavan Oil Refinery, Esfahan Steel Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company had the most positive impact on the IFB benchmark.
