Russia will be hosting the FIFA World Cup, 2018 which will see a host of countries participating in the football extravaganza, Newsx.com.
The FIFA World Cup is one of the most crowd attracting sporting event, with millions of fans traveling to the country hosting the tournament.
Ekaterinburg Arena in Yekaterinburg, Russia increased its seating capacity from 27,000 to 45,000 for the FIFA World Cup, 2018. The stadium was expected to host around 45,000 fans in the scheduled World Cup matches but the limited space allowed lesser seating inside.
So the Russian Football Union decided to revamp the arrangements and add more seats outside the stadium. A giant bleacher platform was built outside and thousands of seats were added.
The Ekaterinburg Arena which was all covered now has a new view for the spectators to enjoy. Just behind the goal post lies the structure which can endure enough of FIFA World Cup visitors and ensure a smooth journey for the stadium through the FIFA regulatory norms.
However, no relaxation has been made in the ticket prices for the particular portion of the stadium. Fans reaction to this ridiculously innovative idea will be interesting to see. Will the World Cup fans loosen their pockets for football view from outside the stadium?
The Ekaterinburg Arena will host a total of 4 FIFA World Cup matches from June 15-27.
