Spain and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is facing the prospect of several weeks on the sideline due to a hamstring injury.
The forward suffered the injury in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City with the goal coming courtesy of Kevin De Bruyne, Itv.com reported.
Morata had an MRI scan on Sunday and according to British media reports, the injury has been upgraded to a grade 2 tear thus meaning a lengthy layoff.
