Online stage of Elecom Games, an Iranian video gaming convention, opened on Thursday. Winners of the online contest will enter the main competition. Elecomp Games is a postponed part of the International Exhibition of Electronics, Computers, and e-Commerce (Elecomp 2017) held in Tehran late July, ICTNA reported. Through the online contest, participants compete playing three popular games, CS-GO, DOTA2 and Rainbow Six. The main competition will be held from September 10-16 at the Book Garden in Tehran. This year’s Elecomp hosted a large number of local game developers, where an unprecedented number of aficionados registered. Winners of the contest will represent Iran in the upcoming e-Sports World Championship in Busan, South Korea from November 9 to 12. It has been reported that 39 national teams will represent their countries in the competition.
