Diagnostic Imaging Center in Karaj

A modern diagnostic imaging center opened Sunday at the Social Security Hospital in the city of Karaj, 30 km west of Tehran. The center is the first of its kind in Alborz Province, IRNA reported.

It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to achieve high-quality imaging with the lowest radiation dose, director of the Social Security Organization (SSO), Mohammad-Taqi Nourbakhsh said.

 The center, which was built at a cost of 140 billion rials ($3.7 million), offers MRI, ultrasound, CT scan, and X-ray services.
