Contracts worth more than $10 million in the fields of cement and fisheries were signed between the Iranian and Russian sides during Iran’s 1st Exclusive Exhibition held from August 16 to 19 in Volgograd, the head of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, Abdollah Mohajer, announced on Wednesday. Mazandaran, a northern Iranian province, played an active role in the Volgograd expo. According to Mohajer, more than 40 Iranian companies active in the fields of dairy, cement, food, rice, fisheries, minerals, pipes and profiles, technical and engineering services, MDF, carpets, handicrafts, toiletries and flower and plants participated in the event, Mehr News Agency reported.
