The ‘Best Companies Festival of Pardis Technology Park’ Awards will be presented on August 22 unveiling the top products and services coming out of the companies this year.
It will highlight the best businesses and products developed at Tehran’s first technology park located 30 km east of the capital, ISNA reported.
Representatives of each firm will deliver speeches about their activities, products, services and financial performance.
Selected companies picked by a panel of industry heads will be offered meetings with investors and can present their products and services in the “specials” section of a website called techmart.ir.
Techmart.ir is a government-backed website which promotes knowledge-based business in the Persian language.
During the previous round of the event in 2016, several firms were awarded such incentives to boost their potential.
Pardis Technology Park created a decade ago, is supervised by the Vice-Presidency’s Office for Science and Technology.
Tehran currently has 21 operational technology parks across the city affiliated to universities like Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran University, and Amir Kabir University.
The park has a stellar record and has signed collaboration deals with academia to help promote the technology sector.
Among the prominent steps by the center was a memorandum of understanding recently signed with Islamic Azad University and Bank Melli Iran to launch the “Mechatronic and Information Technology City” project.
The International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX), the premier regional event for professionals in innovation and technology, is another event hosted by the Pardis Park every year during which local inventors and innovators display their latest precuts.
