The Central Securities Depository of Iran issued 35,000 new trading codes for investors during the second month of the current fiscal year (ended May 21). According to Mehr News Agency, the capital market’s total number of trading codes issued so far has reached 9.3 million. More than 4.83 million of the codes were issued for men and 2.27 million for women. Institutional and foreign trading codes made up 52,000 and 837 of the total figure respectively.
