Customers can now check the authenticity of Cooperative Development Bank’s guarantees on the bank’s website. Cooperative Development Bank’s customers can check the type, file number and the issue date of the bank’s guarantees. If the information is found in the centralized banking system – an interbank data system connecting Iranian banks with the Central Bank of Iran – a verification message will be sent to the customer. The Cooperative Development Bank was established to finance entrepreneurial efforts to decrease the effects of unemployment. The bank’s mandate is to focus on co-operatives by facilitating their growth thus increasing the share of the non-governmental sector in the country’s economy.
