Belarus’s Deputy Transport and Communications Minister Alexander Shishko said Belarus has been invited to set up a joint economic commission with Iran.
Shishko was speaking during the opening ceremony of the 22nd exhibition of the Association of International Road Carriers held in Minsk on Thursday.
The minister also said Belarusian road carriers plan to enter Iran’s market, the state-owned national news agency of the Republic of Belarus, BelTA, reported.
“Despite all the obstacles we have dealt with recently, Belarusian road carriers managed to find the means and possibilities to update their fleet, get a foothold in the markets and explore new ones,” he said.
