First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri sent a message to Finland's Prime Minister Alexander Stubb congratulating him on the occasion of Finland's Independence Day, IRNA reported on Saturday. He expressed hope that Tehran-Helsinki relations would improve through efforts by Iranian and Finnish officials to serve the interests of the two nations. Finland's Independence Day, which is celebrated on December 6, marks the country's declaration of independence from Russia in 1917.
