The Institute of Culture, Art and Architecture in Tehran will host a scientific seminar on February 22 to debate the views, thoughts and concepts of German author, art theoretician and perceptual psychologist Rudolf Arnheim (1904-2007). 

The seminar titled ‘Debate on Rudolf Arnheim’s Views,’ will be attended by painter, art director and lecturer Jamal Arabzadeh, who heads the Painting Department at Tehran University of Art. He has a PhD in Visual Arts from the University of Strasbourg in France, according to Honaronline.

Another renowned participant is researcher and lecturer Kambiz Mousavi Aqdam, member of Iranian Painters Association’s Education Committee. He received his PhD in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Manchester in England. 

The event is open to all enthusiasts, and will be held from 5-7 pm at the institute premises affiliated to Iranian Academy of Arts, and located at No. 29, the intersection of Valiasr Avenue and Hassan Sokhanvar Alley, north of Imam Khomeini Street.
