‘Love Again,’ the first official album by celebrated Iranian pop singer Hamed Homayoun, 34, was unveiled on January 15 at Shams Cultural Center in Tehran.
The singer, and album producer Mohsen Rajabpour, managing director of Taraneh-Sharghi Cultural & Artistic Company, as well as arranger of the tracks, Saman Emami, were present on the occasion, ILNA reported.
Rajabpour said Homayoun’s upcoming programs include his participation in the fight against cancer as the goodwill ambassador of the Health Ministry and his mission will cover the entire country.
The singer is preparing now for the National Cancer Awareness Week, from January 20-26.
Homayoun will perform at Milad Hall of Tehran Permanent Fair Ground on January 17-18 at 7 and 10 pm, as part of the Fajr International Music Festival (January 13-20).
“On January 20, he will have a performance on Kish Island, Hormozgan Province. We have also slated a concert for January 23 at Tehran’s Milad Tower at 7pm and 10 pm. The tickets are available on www.3670.ir,” Rajabpour added.
After the Fajr Festival and the concerts for cancer awareness, Homayoun will accompany fusion music ensemble Taranevar Orchestra on a tour to a number of cities including Karaj in Alborz Province, Ahvaz in Khuzestan, and Shiraz in Fars Province.
‘Love Again’ is a romantic album of 18 tracks whose lyrics are composed by Soheil Hosseini, Neda Hatami, Arezou Marjani, Maryam Zahedi and Mohammad Reza Nazari.
Hamed Homayoun, whose real name is Hamed Mahmoudzadeh, is a newcomer to the music community of Iran, but has already found a large number of fans.
