Two Int’l Expos Open in Tehran

Two international exhibitions opened simultaneously on Friday at Tehran International Permanent Fairground and will run through January 9. The Fourth Exhibition of Nuts, Dried Fruits and Relevant Industries, otherwise known as Iran Nutex 2017, is organized by Saya Namaye Parsian Exhibition Company and International Exhibitions Company of Islamic Republic of Iran, ILNA reported. The event is being held in association with the Trade Promotion Exhibition of Iran, Ministry of Agriculture, Iran Pistachio Association, Halal World Institute and the guilds of dried fruits and relevant industries. The number of exhibitors at Iran Nutex 2017 has increased by 15% compared with the 2016 edition. It is hosting over 100 domestic companies and trade delegations from 16 countries. The First International Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery, Irrigation Systems and Related Industries also got underway on January 6 with the participation of 93 local companies and eight foreign firms from Spain, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany and China.
