Iran exported more than 346,600 tons of non-oil goods worth $50.1 million to Indonesia during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 20), registering a 40% rise in value compared with last year’s corresponding period.

Petrochemicals, gypsum, carpet, lead, caoutchouc, medical equipment and date were among the main exported commodities.

More than 117,800 tons of goods worth $67 million were imported from the East Asian country into Iran during the six-month period, which shows a 33% increase in value year-on-year. Imports mainly included palm oil, paper, wood pulp, coffee, tuna and auto parts.
