Russian Mission in Mazandaran

A delegation from Russia’s Volgograd Oblast arrived in Iran’s northern Mazandaran Province on Wednesday for a three-day visit for exploring ways of expanding mutual trade. The mission is scheduled to meet with business owners, traders, industrial executives and government officials of the Caspian province, and visit its factories and fish farms, IRNA reported. The visit comes two months after a business mission from Mazandaran went to the Russian region. Volgograd Oblast is located in southwest Russia, bordering the Caspian region of Astrakhan with agriculture, food production, heavy industries, gas and petroleum refining as its main economic sectors.
