An online autism screening test for children between the ages of two to five years will be available on the State Welfare Organization's website from December 2, said Zahra Noparast, a senior SWO official. "The short 10-question autism quiz will help parents determine whether their children might have symptoms consistent with autism spectrum disorder," IRNA quoted her as saying. Children who test positive should be sent to the nearest SWO's Autism Center to receive the necessary services which include counseling for the children and their families and at-home and center-based therapy, she added. Autism is a neurological disorder that can cause problems with thinking, feeling, language, and relating socially to other people.
