Tamay ensemble will perform a concert of Azeri folk music at Tehran's Vahdat Hall on July 31.

The concert starts at 9:30 pm. Rasoul Delrish will lead the performance, and Dariush Dahri will sing the folk pieces originating from the Azeri region, according to the website musiciran.ir.

The selected pieces are reconceptualized in new arrangements. The instruments used in the concert include piano, bass guitar, tar and clarinet.

The ensemble has successfully combined elements of various genres with Azeri folk music in its previous appearances at the Persian Gulf Hall of Niavaran Cultural Center and Azadi Tower's main hall.

The Music Office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has granted the ensemble the 'Certificate of First Degree Art' for their quality performance.

The performance will be accompanied by a show of Azeri folk dance. The entire event is directed by theater and film director, writer and translator Reza Dadoui, 39.
