Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Friday sent a message to his Iraqi counterpart Salim al-Jabouri congratulating him on the formation of the new Iraqi government.
Larijani said the completion of the political process to form a new government will provide a strong backing for the campaign against terrorism in the crisis-hit Arab country.
He also said Iran will fully support the Iraqi people and government in any circumstances.
