National carrier Iran Air signed two contracts with American aircraft-manufacturing giant Boeing, Cultural Heritage News quoted managing director of Iran Air Farhad Parvaresh as saying. On the basis of the contracts and under the issued permits, payment was made by the Iranians, and in return, Boeing provided technical documents, including aircraft manuals, drawings, navigation charts and data for Iran’s Boeing plains, Parvaresh said.

Ending a 35-year break in the business, Boeing earned $120,000 to provide Iran Air with the technical data, but the sale did not include plane spare parts, in spite of general expectation due to the existence of Boeing aircrafts in Iranian air fleet.
