A delegation of representatives of aviation companies from Germany’s Bavaria State is scheduled to visit Iran on August 23-25 to identify fields of potential cooperation and explore investment opportunities in Iran’s aviation sector. Executives from Germany’s IABG—technology and science service provider active in automotive, aeronautics, space, mobility and defense among other sectors—and French planemaker Airbus, which has a research center in the region, will be accompanying the visiting mission, ISNA reported. The delegation is planning to tour Iranian aviation companies, including Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Company, Iran Helicopter Support and Renewal Company, Oil Turbo Compressor, Alborz Turbo Compressor and FARSCO’s aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul center. Design and construction of aircraft structures, repair and maintenance of passenger planes, aviation electronics and laboratory operations are among the topics expected to be discussed between Iranian companies and their counterparts in the visiting delegation.
