Bank Tejarat has established corresponding relations with 50 foreign banks since the lifting of the sanctions in January. Ali Mehrpour, head of the bank’s department for international affairs, said that his bank is currently holding talks with 50 other major banks in Asia and Europe. Tejarat has been improving its operations in line with global standards, especially those about transparency and anti-money laundering, the bank’s website was quoted Mehrpour as saying on Saturday.
