Tehran Stock Exchange's main index gained 845.60 points or 1.16% to close Wednesday trade at 73,644.8.

More than 760 million shares valued at $50.7 million were transacted for the day.

Zar Spring Company was the biggest riser as it went up 10.05% to 2,661 rials per share.

Farabi Pharmaceutical Company posted the biggest losses, going down 5.53% to 11,015 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company provided the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

Behshahr Industries Development Company weighed most on TEDPIX, followed by Credit and Pension Fund Investment Company and Farabi Pharmaceutical Company.

The Price Index added 307.60 points or 1.16% to end at 26,789.6.

The First Market Index scored 667.30 points or 1.32% to reach 51,314.5.

The Second Market Index won 1,399.20 or 0.87% to post 162,333.2.

The Industry Index was up 682.90 points or 1.13% to hit 61,146.0.

The Free Float Index gathered 1,217.49 points or 1.50% to register 82,340.40.

The TSE 30 Index gained 43.40 points or 1.47% to settle at 2,995.5, while the TSE 50 Index was up 33 points or 1.14% to finish at 2,917.5.

Iran Fara Bourse's main index IFX notched up 13.47 points or 1.76% to close at 777.44.

Close to 450 million securities valued at $24.6 million changed hands in 24,000 transactions.

MAPNA Group, Niroo Sarmyaeh Company and Baghmisheh Company had the highest increase in share value. Kosar Credit Institution, Day Insurance and Marjankar Company posted the biggest declines.

Middle East Mines and Minerals Development Holding Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and MAPNA Group gave the biggest lift to IFX.

Hormozgan Steel Company registered the highest number of traded shares and highest daily trade value, as 42 million of its shares worth $1.2 million changed hands.

More than 47 million securities valued at $2.2 million were transacted in the First Market. The Second Market witnessed the trading of 165 million securities worth $8.5 million.

Etemad Fund posted the highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds with the transaction of 3.5 million shares.
