Iran exported 564,000 tons of watermelons valued at $126.6 million in the last Iranian year (ended March 19, 2016). Citing data provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, ISNA reported that Pakistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Germany, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Kuwait, Qatar, Sweden, Switzerland, Iraq and Oman were the main destinations for Iranian watermelon during the period.
