Chairman of Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Masoud Khansari met with Albania’s visiting deputy foreign minister, Saleem Bolor Taya, in Tehran on Wednesday to discuss joint ventures and the possibility of exports to the European market. “We want Iranian economic players to invest in Albanian projects,” IRNA quoted Taya as saying. Khansari stated that Iran is prepared to help Albania develop its infrastructures and delegations from the two sides need to identify avenues of cooperation. Iran exports about $1.4 million worth of goods to Albania annually and its imports from the country amount to less than $1 million.
