Czech economy grew by 4.7% in Q3 yr/yr, against a 4.5% expansion in the previous estimate of the end of Nov, and its growth reached 0.7% qtr/qtr, compared with 0.5% predicted at end-Nov, according to revised data from the Czech Statistical Office, NewsNow reported. The estimate was revised owing to new data from the sector of the government’s institutions, especially taxes on products. Q3 profitability of enterprises increased to 50.2%, a rise of 0.7 percentage points in annual terms. Real household consumption per capita increased by 3.7% on the year, 1 percentage point more compared to the growth of real income.
