Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone talk with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and discussed current tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, as well as steps to coordinate the fight against terrorism.
"During an exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda, the main focus was on Syrian conflict settlement, as well as the situation unfolding between Iran and Saudi Arabia," the Kremlin press service said on Friday, Sputnik reported.
