Export Development Bank of Iran has launched a news website to cover topics in international trade, non-oil exports, and promote business information. Ali Saleh Abadi, head of EDBI, said that the “website provides businesses with comprehensive data and views” to help establish an avenue between traders and economic officials. Mohammad Ali Karimi, head of Central Bank of Iran’s public relations office also welcomed the establishment of the website saying that the need for such a medium was being felt. He noted the initiative was a big step forward in spreading awareness and hoped the site would be “fair” in its reporting. Address of the website in Persian is http://www.eximnews.ir.
