The country’s largest hospital wastewater treatment plant has been put into operation at Taleqani Hospital in the Velenjak neighborhood in north Tehran, said Afshin Mohammad Ali Zadeh, head of the hospital. The plant, built over a land area of 600 sq m, has a daily treatment capacity of 800 cubic meters (m3) and cost $400,000, IRNA reported.
