Over 222,000 tons of various petrochemical products from Shazand Petrochemical Company (SPC), valued at $240 million, were exported during the first half of the year, which ended September 22, SHANA reported. The export volume accounts for 63 percent of overall sales of SPC in the period. SPC was among nearly 50 prominent Iranian exporters honored at a ceremony of the National Export Day in Tehran’s Summit Conference Hall. During the ceremony, SPC was specifically honored as the ‘pioneer exporter’ of the year for its special efforts in exporting commodities, compared to other petrochemical companies. SPC is one of the biggest suppliers of polymers and chemicals in Iran.
