Iran’s Festival of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics hosted by Amirkabir University of Technology has announced its winners.
The panel of juries has announced the winners of the Fifth International Competition of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AUTcup 2015), the Third International Competition of Artificial Intelligence (AAIC 2015) and the First open FIRAcup 2015, Mehr News Agency reported.
The three-day festival opened in Tehran on November 16.
Winners of AUTcup 2015:
In the Intelligent Deminer Robots League: Pasargad of Amirkabir University of Technology was the top winner, Pasargad of Payam-e Noor University came in second place and RTL of Islamic Azad University ranked third.
In Real Rescue Robots League: DML gained the most marks to come in first, KN2C was second, and DML of Islamic Azad University’s Damavand Branch managed to stand at third place.
In the @Factory Robots League: ACE Extreme garnered top marks, MEC took the second spot and Center for Worker House of Kerman came in third.
Winners of FIRAcup 2015:
HuroCup League: AUTMan-Kid of Amirkabir University of Technology stood at first place.
SimuroSot League: Bit01 of Khayyam University of Mashhad received top grades to come in first and GraceBand of Mehr Nami Girls High School came in second place.
Winners of AAIC 2015:
Face Detection: ROGA of the University of Qom took the top two honors.
Automobile Detection and Tracking on Highways: AVID of Amirkabir Univeristy of Technology was declared the winner of the top two places.
Aircraft Detection in Satellite Images: Plane Detector was ranked first, Beheshti University came in second and Phoenix Project stood at third place.
Soroush Sadeqnejad, chairman of the festival’s Technical Committee, said 332 teams had filled in applications for participating in the international event, 90 of which were selected to participate.
