Export Insurance Agency of Armenia and the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of an Iran-Armenia business forum in Tehran on November 9. According to EGFI website, the memorandum defines the framework of cooperation between the two sides, especially joint projects directed toward promotion of trade and investments, sharing experience and information in insurance risk management and organizing training programs. EGFI has provided the Armenians with more than $152 million export coverage in the past two decades which accounts for 60% of Armenia’s total investments during the period.
