Convergence Between Moderates, Reformists

The secretary of the elections committee of the front of moderates told IRNA on Sunday that the front’s strategy for the next parliamentary elections in 2016 is to seek convergence between well-established pro-reform, moderate, and rationalist principlist groups.  Jamshid Irani said the front has focused its efforts on the parliamentary elections and has seriously started its activities. “As it managed to participate in the presidential election (in 2013 which led to the election of moderate President Hassan Rouhani) through empathy and convergence, the front of moderates is seeking to take part in the Majlis elections,” he said.
