The deputy minister of youth affairs and sports, Manaf Hashemi, announced Sunday that the ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bank Pasargad, which he said is willing to support initiatives in promoting sports and youth activities, Banker News reports. Hashemi said the agreement was signed by Sports Minister Mahmoud Goudarzi and Pasargad’s CEO Majid Ghasemi. The deputy minister expressed hope that the bank would provide finance for an event set to be held on October 29 at the IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran to honor Iranian champions returning from the Asian Games in Incheon South Korea.
