Iranian ambassador to Jordan Mojtaba Ferdowsipur and head of the Tourism and Antiquities Committee, Amjad Meslamani of the Lower House of the Jordanian Parliament discussed on Tuesday the possible ways to promote tourism between the two countries, Petra News Agency reported.
Meslamani stressed the importance of upgrading tourism relations and called for increased coordination and exchange of expertise, stressing the need to remove any hurdles facing Iranian tourists and redressing shortcomings in the tourism sector.
Ferdowsipur spoke of the need to exchange expertise through cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and other authorities and praised the “Amman Message” as a model tool to confront terrorism that harms the Islamic faith.
