Speaker of the Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz, leading a high-ranking parliamentary delegation, was to arrive in Tehran on Friday at the invitation of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, ICANA reported. Borusewicz is to meet Larijani today. They will hold a joint press conference after the meeting. The two sides are expected to discuss ways to increase interaction at parliamentary, regional and international levels and expand economic collaboration between Tehran and Warsaw. A delegation of lawmakers comprising members of the Iran-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group visited Warsaw earlier this year to hold talks with Polish parliamentarians on mutual cooperation.
