IME offers 55KT of Iron Ore for Export

Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to 55,000 tons of granulated iron ore offered by Jalalabad Iron Ore Complex and priced at $19 per ton on its export trading floor on Monday.

According to IME report, 8,000 tons of bitumen 6070 and 100 tons of roof insulation were also supplied to potential customers overseas.

Mobarakeh Steel Company offered 35,200 tons of hot-rolled steel sheet C at the base price of 14,350 rials per kg, 24,200 tons of hot-rolled B priced at 14,100 rials per kg, 6,000 tons of galvanized sheets, 6,000 tons of cold rolled sheets as well as 2,500 tons of tin-plated sheets on the industrial and mining trading floor. Moreover, the floor saw the offering of 2,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75% purity by Iran Aluminum Company and 1,100 tons of rebar bundles A3-14 and 28 by Khorasan Steel Company.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 128,800 tons of various grades of bitumen, 20,866 tons of polymers and 15,000 tons of vacuum bottoms.

Elsewhere, the agricultural trading floor recorded the offering of 5,000 tons of wheat, 2,000 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil, 1,000 tons of white sugar, 250 tons of corn and 40 tons of rice.

All in all, close to 315,000 tons of commodities were supplied in IME’s spot market.
