Iran Khodro (IKCO) has announced it will provide new variations of its popular Tondar (Logan) models in the Iranian market. The deputy director of the Tondar line, Reza Motamed, said IKCO has designed a new van and pick-up model in conjunction with Renault-Pars to add to the current lineup. The company official said, “We are determined to develop new cars that meet customers’ needs,” adding that IKCO production lines are capable of producing various cars that share a common platform, however, new body shapes would be established for new cars with new platforms. According to the IKCO deputy CEO, all Tondar 90 sedans that will enter the market would be equipped with dual airbags, and supplied locally.
