About 110,000 tons of iron ore at the base price of $20 per ton were offered by Jalalabad Iron Ore Complex on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s export trading floor on Monday to potential customers overseas.
The floor also played host to 3,340 tons of various grades of bitumen and 700 tons of roof insulation.
Around 200 tons of metallurgical coke by Isfahan Steel Company and 30 tons of gold bullions by Mouteh Gold Complex were supplied on the industrial and mining trading floor.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed the offering of 33,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 26,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 34,300 tons of various grades of bitumen as well as 8,7750 tons of different kinds of polymers, including styrene butadiene rubber, polyethylene and polypropylene.
Elsewhere, 7,000 tons of virgin vegetable oil from Argentina and Ukraine, 1,000 tons of wheat from Kazakhstan, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 2,000 tons of corn, 4,000 tons of white sugar and 75 tons of rice were offered on the agricultural trading floor.
Overall, more than 235,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market for both local and foreign customers on Monday.
