At a ceremony to commend successful executives in health promotion of mother and child in prenatal and postnatal care, Tehran’s Milad Hospital was conferred an appreciation certificate for its efforts.

Since 2007, the hospital has organized various forms of antenatal education classes to help prepare mothers for labor, birth and parenthood.

Additionally, normal physiologic labor and birth has increased at the medical center and natural births are facilitated free of charge as of last year, according to Mahmoud Reza Fayyaz, hospital CEO.

Milad Hospital is the largest specialty and subspecialty hospital in Iran. It is also the main health service provider in the Social Security Organization’s chain of hospitals providing free healthcare to workers insured with the SSO, which owns the hospital.
