Head of the Majlis Principlists Faction and former parliament speaker said on Friday the Feb 26, 2016 parliamentary election is “very critical and important,” IRNA reported. “We should be careful not to allow the outcome of the election will be like the Sixth Majlis (which was dominated by reformists), and principlists (who control the current parliament) should not downplay the possibility,” Gholam Ali Haddad Adel said. Principlists should make every effort to secure a “principlist Majlis”, he said, adding that the victory of principlists is crucial.
