More than 148,000 tons of goods worth $77 million were exported through Golestan Province during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 21), which indicates an 80% increase in volume and 25% rise in value compared to the previous year’s corresponding period, Mehr News Agency quoted head of Golestan Customs Bureau, Ali Akbar Shamani, as saying. About 7.5 million tons of commodities worth $7 million were imported via the province, mostly through Incheh Borun border crossing, the official added.
