An engineer has designed and built a robot that can be used for military defense. Arash Ahmadinia, graduate student in mechatronics and the author of a research paper on the project, said the defense robot can be used to defend the country, ISNA reported. The robot is able to launch missiles from different angles and hit targets from a horizontal or vertical position. The machine is capable of turning 0-180 degree using its main shaft and can spin in 360-degree format. This is the first defense machine in the world capable of carrying radar. Unfortunately, images of the machine are not available, thus Financial Tribune was unable to verify the report.
