President Hassan Rouhani sent a message to his Portuguese counterpart Anibal Cavaco Silva on Wednesday to extend congratulations to him and the European nation on the occasion of Portugal's National Day, which is celebrated annually on June10, ISNA reported. Rouhani expressed hope that the two sides would take "effective measures" to help improve bilateral interactions. He wished success and wellbeing for Silva and the Portuguese people.
