The head of the Majlis Foreign Policy Subcommittee said on Sunday he is not hopeful that the United Nations will be able to pave the way for the smooth delivery of relief supplies to the war-affected Yemeni people and secure a ceasefire in the crisis-hit Arab country.  “At present, the situation has developed in a way that instead of condemning the aggressors, the Yemeni people receive condemnation,” lawmaker Vahid Ahmadi told ISNA.

He highlighted the status of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, saying, “Ansarullah has been able to play an effective role in fostering cohesion among popular forces… This capability can influence the political future of Yemen.”
