President Hassan Rouhani and his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone call on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations, ISNA reported. Rouhani said, "Iran and Kazakhstan have signed very positive and constructive agreements with each other, and by their implementation, the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries will be expanded." Nazarbayev, for his part, said relations in all areas should be strengthened, expressing hope that a prospective deal on Tehran's nuclear program would pave the way for enhancing ties.
