Television Director Bijan Birang announced that the shooting for his new series ‘Love Isn’t Off’ will start early October.
Produced for home video network, the series makes use of two superstars Mohammad-Reza Golzar and Mahnaz Afshar in leading roles, MNA reported.
The two have cooperated in several films, all among the best-sellers of their own time. The most successful movie where they played together was in ‘Cease Fire’ (2006). It was titled the first movie to gross over $300,000.
‘Love Isn’t Off’ is a comedy with a social theme which centers on the problems seen in today’s society.
“At the moment, actors are reading the script and have rehearsed their dialogues together,” Birang said.
The other cast includes known actors Mehraneh Mahin-Torabi, Alireza Khamseh, Maedeh Tahmasebi, and Behnoush Bakhtiari.
With all the necessary action taken for pre-production, the shooting will start on October 7 in Tehran.
Birang has previously directed popular series on TV including ‘Green House’, ‘Spouses’, ‘Health Neighborhood’, etc.
