The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) spokesman described relations between Iran and Iraq as "good", saying Tehran provided its neighbor with great support to help it fight militants of the so-called Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. "The Iraqi army got into a difficult situation in the face of (the onslaught by) Daesh (IS) and was weakened. Iran's support helped it get out of this situation… Iran's support is crucial," Safeen Dizayee told the Turkish Anadolu Agency on Friday, Fars news agency reported.
